Tell me more…Bangkok Post 9FilmFest 2012 is launching its first year! It is our goal to contribute to the development of the Thai film industry and offer opportunities to emerging filmmakers, to be discovered, showcased, and supported. Broad visions, but with support of sponsors, filmmakers and audience, we will become an event, not to be missed in Thailand.

The annual short film competition is open to everyone who would like to enter! We are accepting submissions from around the world and no film making background required.

We will select 9 Finalists from our list of entries and compete for prizes.

9FilmFest films are special. We ask all films contain our Heard as the signature item, this ensures the films are made for entering our festival. The premiere of the film must be made at Bangkok Post 9FilmFest 20012, the film cannot have any previous public screenings before 9FilmFest. This year, the 9FilmFest Signature Item will be "Heart".

Our festival is free, open to the public, and will be held at Park Paragon on 12 June m2012. The festival is a one day event bringing cultural entertainment – live music and cinema together. This all day, all night event will lead to an awards ceremony where the winning filmmakers will be announced.
